- Arista is a concentrate for the artists of the bubble show. 5 liters of solution is prepared from 250 ml. The concentrate has been developed for about 3 years since the beginning of 2017. About 50 people worked on the concentrate: both ordinary employees of companies that produce detergents, and University professors. Some worked for money, some just helped with advice. We can't remember all of them, but we are grateful to each of them for their participation in this great work.
It is no secret that many artists prepare their own solution according to a recipe.
I'm sure many of them will now choose Arista concentrate.
What is the difficulty with preparing the solution according to the recipe:
- Cost increasesMost often, the solution is prepared from Fairy (dishwashing detergent). It is constantly getting more expensive.
- Bad or unpleasant smell of the solutionFairy smells like household chemicals and the audience understands this at the performance. And Fairy without smell is much more expensive than its fragrant analogues.
- It's hard to buy ingredientsMany recipes include ingredients that are difficult to find. It is not always possible to buy it in your own city, you have to buy it over the Internet or search in neighboring cities.
- Manufacturers change their compositionAbout once a year, you have to change the composition of the solution, because manufacturers change the recipe of some ingredient for the solution.
- The need to prepare more and in advanceTo save their time, and to be always ready for performances, artists prepare a lot of solution at once. If the solution is not used in time, it spoils. And it has to be thrown away.
- Heavy solutionOften animators do not have their own cars and move from order to order on public transport. Until there was no concentrate, such artists had to carry a heavy container with the solution with them.
I have advised about 300 students on the recipe of the solution, I give the most frequent mistakes when diluting the solution according to the recipe.
- Problems with glycerinGlycerine can be different (from different manufacturers) or it is difficult to buy in the city. With a lack of normal glycerol, sometimes it even comes to the pharmacy. Its quality is very different - this becomes a problem.
- Ingredients behave differentlyDifferent brands of ingredients work in different ways. Most often, they have different content of the active substance or it is modified.
- Need for special scalesNot all scales are suitable. You need scales that measure tenths and hundredths of grams. Also, these scales need to be periodically calibrated.
- Artists make mistakes when preparing the solutionThese are technical mistakes. The artist may forget how much is measured, or make a mistake when weighing. Many of my colleagues will confirm that not everyone was able to prepare the solution the first try.
I am an excellent recipe cook and have taught hundreds of my students how to do it, but even I find it difficult. The hardest part for me is using leftover ingredients. There aren't much of them. But they are all sold in different places and spent differently. I've been dreaming of a concentrate for a long time, and now it's here.

This is the solution with which I work myself. You can also be sure that Arista does not contain carcinogenic or mutagenic substances. My husband Alexey led the development of Arista. All my friends know how serious he is about my health. While working on the solution, we discussed each ingredient for its possible harm. Several substances were not used in the concentrate. To be honest, it was the search for healthy surfactants and preservatives that greatly delayed the development time.

At first I did tricks with my usual technique and pace. Then I started adjusting to the solution. If you get used to it a little, you can do your usual tricks very well. The solution seemed to me very plastic and flexible. It's nice to improvise and play with it.
Which of your tricks did you fail to perform and why?
Failed with eights, there were very few bubbles. But there were a lot of bubbles from the bubble maker!!!
It was difficult with the smoke tricks. Because of the weight of the smoke, the bubble descended faster than I was used to with my solution. But I want to try the smoke tricks again.
Tricks with smoke on the palms turned out. Today I will try again to do all the tricks with smoke in the air, on my hands and on rackets.
Even at first, the bubble during the rehearsal burst at the most unpredictable moment. There was such a thing. Then you adjust.
And sometimes, when performing tricks on two hands, the bubble from one hand would stick to the other. The same thing was with the manual and smoke tricks.
How satisfied are you with the production of Arista as a concentrated paste? Is this an advantage or disadvantage?
This is definitely an advantage! It was very easy to mix. The jar is small, light and convenient in all characteristics.
This paste did not give me any difficulties. I just stirred it a little longer and more intensely. And I rinsed everything out of the jar, scraping the walls with a stick.
How quickly did you manage to dissolve Arista in water?
Quite fast. After the solution has been infused, there are no clots left in it.
Does Arista smell, and if so, how pleasant and acceptable is it?
The smell is neutral. I almost didn't smell anything. I will smell again.
Will you recommend using Arista to soap bubble show artists and animators?
